{UAH} NUP FULL OF GAYS & PIGS WHO CAN’T RULE UGANDA, MIVULE

Catherine Kusasira recently said that they, as President Museveni's supporters, were not worried about many musicians and entertainers joining NUP because it was a matter of time before they regretted their decision. This was after Bobi Wine Kyagulanyi Sentamu, the NUP Principal, unveiled many of them as new defectors at his headquarters in Kamwokya. Basajja Mivule was among them. But today, barely two weeks later, Mivule is talking bitter against NUP claiming that the nascent political movement represents an intolerant kind of tyranny worse than Idi Amin.

Mivule says PP/NUP is full of intolerant "homosexuals and drug addicts" who can never rule Uganda because their conduct is abominable before God. He says that even in his worst form Gen Museveni remains way much better than NUP can ever be. Mivule's anger stems from his recent televised apology to all Banyankoles after he called them land grabbers. It's something that some of the NUP supporters didn't like and they have since gone as far as dismissing Mivule as a traitor who deserves to die.

 

Mivule claims his apology was preceded by a meeting, attended by his great friend Frank Gashumba, during which key Banyankole leaders prevailed on him saying he must apologize because a few Banyankoles misconducting themselves in Kampala can't represent an entire ethnic group. That he was told this is bad for a leader like him with future ambitions to stand for the presidency of this country seeking everybody's vote including the Banyankole. "I realized I was wrong and apologized," Mivule says in his anti-NUP video that has since gone viral. That to his dismay, hundreds of NUP social media users got offended and have since been hurling all manner of obscenities at him. As if to corroborate Kusasira's claims, Turkey-based blogger Fred Lumbuye (who many consider to be a hatchet man for Mr. Wine) says they have intelligence information to the effect that Mivule, a membership card holder, will soon be walking out of NUP with a group of 20 other big-name actors into NRM. In his anti-Mivule recording, Lumbuye says he needs authorization from a certain Principal (he doesn't disclose) to disclose the names of the other 20 traitors still hanging in at Kamwokya but will soon be defecting from NUP (claiming existence of drug addicts and homosexuals as justification for their departure).

In his long recording (which Lumbuye says was preceded by meetings Mivule held with President Museveni and three of his generals between 15^th and 18^th 2020), the veteran Kaboozi Kubiri journalist claims that NUP is full of ignorant and intolerant youths whose idol Kyagulanyi will never get anywhere near State House. He says they live in self-deception whereby they each operate multiple social media accounts and "they end up forgetting that not more than 20% of potential Ugandan voters are on social media."

 

Mivule celebrates the last Monday youth elections whose results he says revealed the extent to which PP/NUP is a mirage that has always been exaggerated without having the appropriate level of support in the community even in Kampala and Wakiso which they claim to be their stronghold. He says in Kamwokya TLC Zone where Mr. Wine grew up and has lived or operated for much of his adult life, the NRM candidate won. To him this is clear indication that Ugandans have rejected PP/NUP because of its intolerance and abusive character.

Saying he won't be intimidated or cowed into silence, Mivule also wildly claims that there is a squad inside PP/NUP that has been prepared and trained with the sole assignment of bumping off critics like him who have the guts to tell the PP/NUP fraternity the uncomfortable truths they don't want to hear. He challenges PP/NUP to show him where their support is now that the NRM decisively floored them both in Kampala and Wakiso among the youths who they claim to be their primary supporters.  He claims to serve a fair God who can't allow a decent man like Museveni to be replaced "by NUP hooligans." Mivule says all in all he is regretful of the sectarian remarks he made against Banyankole and says he regrets his utterances having realized everything he said was totally false.

LUMBUYE RANTS

A renowned hatchet man for Mr. Wine, Lumbuye claims Mivule is on a mission to destroy PP/NUP to strengthen Gen Museveni. He claims Mivule has always been poverty-stricken and was recently availed with Shs50m to pay off some of his creditors in the Kasangati neighborhood where he lives. That after one of the last week meetings in Entebbe, Mivule was offered Shs3m for his fuel refund. He adds that, Mivule (who lives in a rented home and sometimes struggles paying his rent on time) was also promised a house worth Shs400m so that he transforms into a landlord.

In total, Lumbuye claims, Mivule will be facilitated with Shs2bn throughout this electioneering season which he will be using to run a series of media talk shows and seminars aimed at motivating Ugandans into hard work to overcome poverty as opposed to investing their hopes in NUP's Mr. Wine in the deceptive anticipation that he will one day become President and solve their problems. Lumbuye claims that using some of this money, Mivule will be inducing many young people to abandon Mr. Wine while claiming this is in protest to drug addiction and homosexuality practices that are rampant in the Kamwokya-based political movement.
