{UAH} As a Republican, why would you vote for Biden instead of Trump?

I was a Reagan Republican, and I will most definitely vote for Joe Biden.

I no longer recognize the Republican party. It has become a madhouse following a maniac. And the craziest inmate of all is running the asylum.

The maniac preens and lies, preens and lies, preens and lies … while 200,000 Americans take their places in their graves and the death toll keeps inexorably rising. The GOP lacks a spine, ignores the Constitution, and actually supports this maniac.

Fortunately, thanks to Bob Woodward we no longer need to guess about the coronavirus and Trump's abysmal response to it. Woodward allowed Trump to become his own Deep Throat — in person, on the record, on tape. Trump confessed his crimes willingly, as if he actually wants someone to stop him.

Trump confessed that he deliberately lied to the American people during the greatest national crisis since World War II. Is it possible that Trump somehow failed to understand that this was a crime that would result in staggering numbers of Americans dying whose lives could have been saved? If Trump did not understand, he has no business being president. But we know that he certainly did understand, because he wrote a blistering letter to the WHO in which Trump said that "downplaying" the coronavirus was bound to result in lost lives. He then turned around and downplayed the coronavirus far more than the WHO, calling it the "sniffles" and just "the flu" but less dangerous than the flu, while repeatedly making it seem like nothing for Americans to really worry about.

Trump is far more guilty than the WHO and he is convicted by his own words. He knew that what he was doing was wrong and would result in lives being lost that could have been saved. How is that not premeditated murder on a gargantuan scale?

Just recently we learned that Cadet Bone Spurs has insulted our wounded warriors by banning them from military parades, and that the draft-dodging double-dealer has insulted our war dead by calling them "losers" and "suckers." These and other vile insults have been confirmed by Jennifer Griffin of Fox News, the Associated Press, the New York Times, and other news services. While these quotes have been disputed, they ring true for me because Cadet Bone Spurs has said worse things in public about our top generals, calling them "dopes" and "babies" and "pussies." If he talks like that about our generals, we can only imagine what he thinks about the lower ranks.

I believe those of us who prefer a functional democracy to a maniac making himself dictator for life like his heroes Putin and Lil Kim must vote for Biden. And Joe Biden is a sane and competent politician who will listen to his generals, intelligence officers, scientists and medical experts, which makes him worlds better than Don the Con.
