{UAH} MUSEVENI: I Don’t Regret Fishing Full Figure, Butcherman From Bobi Wine: They have Finally Carried the Ghetto to My NRM Party

President Museveni has used the Friday national thanksgiving ceremony in State House to justify his decision to raid Kyagulanyi's ghetto base from where he says he is proud to have recruited Full Figure and Butcherman Bugembe.  Addressing an audience comprising of largely the clergy and his government and party officials, Gen Museveni said through the duo he was able to reach out to and capture majority of the "ghetto commanders" on whom the NRM is now counting to deflate opposition groups that intended to use ghetto youths to cause chaos and disrupt peace of Kampala and other major towns.

Wondering whether the top clerics in the audience even know who Full Figure or Butcherman is, Gen Museveni recalled how mainstream NRM leaders bashed him for directly reaching out to Full Figure and Butcherman as opposed to going through them. He said such NRM leaders are aloof and full of selfishness whereby they like "monopolizing" access to him yet they never use the resultant leverage to help the poor in the ghettoes. That the duo had enabled him understand and prioritize addressing the ghetto problems which the NRM leaders had overlooked.

Museveni, who was full of praises for Full Figure and Butcherman, claimed to currently have an upper hand when it comes to the ghetto vote. He didn't explain much saying doing so would amount to boring the Bishops, who came or thanksgiving prayers, with unnecessary politics. He saluted Butcherman and Full Figure for abandoning the ghetto-based opposition groups which he claimed are agents of foreign interests including actors that are desirous to impose homosexuality on Uganda. He stressed that thank God such external disruptors won't succeed in their efforts to destabilize Ugandans through their local agents using the next month general elections. 

 That through local agents, Museveni (who he fondly referred to Full Figure as "my girl") claimed the foreign actors bent at destabilizing Uganda have gone as far as financing the purchase of marijuana and opium to be given to the street children to cause chaos aimed at making Uganda ungovernable. "They will not succeed because Uganda is being governed by us who went to the bush for 50 years," Museveni said attracting applause from his audience
