{UAH} THE MEANING BEHIND 'TRIBE TOORO'
THE MEANING BEHIND 'TRIBE TOORO'
-----------
Ihanga Tooro means all those who live in Tooro, e.g. Batooro, Baganda, Bakiiga, Batuku, etc. The Batooro ethnic group are the original inhabitants of Tooro as a tribe. When people move and settle in Tooro, it's needful that they get assimilated and learn the culture, norms, and traditions of Tooro. Hence, Tribe Tooro is an open community consisting of people who live in Tooro; the friends of Tooro; those who love Tooro; and those who are dedicated to promoting & serving Tooro. Tribe Tooro operates as a platform where we can connect with each other in a meaningful way. Unfortunately, some people interpret the word 'Tribe' in terms of ethnicities only, which is wrong.
