{UAH} Our Institutionalised Sources of Corruption!

Our Institutionalised Sources of Corruption!

Each MP receives 200m to buy a car in Uganda. On record less than 100 MPs use the money to buy cars! Out of the 100 MPs only 40 buy cars to a tune of 150m.

60 MPs buy cars ranging from 20 - 60m.

The rest of the MPs use this money for cars to show that they have arrived in Kampala, begin to camp at Serena, buy land and construct posh homes in Kampala. No accountability needed. That's how theft or corruption has been institutionalized.

In the new or 11th Parliament 2021 - 2026, if the 200m for cars is not increased! 5 MPs will share 1bn. Meaning 100 MPs will share 20bn.

Therefore 529 MPs will share or take home more than 100bn from the national treasury without accountability for the same.

If you want to understand Uganda better, find out the budget for agriculture.
