Ugandans Are Faking Kidnaps To Tarnish Image Of Security Forces-RDC Washaki

Manafwa district Resident District Commissioner- RDC Ahamada Washaki says Ugandans alleging Kidnap might be faking it themselves to tarnish the image of security forces and to intimidate Uganda Police Force not to arrest them as they plan riots. 

The controversial RDC, who was formerly a big government critic before joining the ruling NRM, made the statement on his official Facebook account.  He says Ugandans complaining of their relatives being kidnapped by security officials who travel in numberless drones, could be faking it at a fee.

Here is Washaki's full statement on Facebook;

"POLICE SHOULDN'T BE INTIMIDATED SOME UGANDANS ALLEGING KIDNAP CAN ACTUALLY BE FAKING IT THEMSELVES TO TARNISH THE IMAGE OF OUR SUCURITY FORCES.

THIS MIGHT BE PLAN "B". THEY MIGHT BE PLANNING RIOTS BUT TRYING TO INTIMIDATE POLICE NOT TO ARREST THEM.  THEY CAN FAKE SO CALLED RELATIVES AT A FEE. YOU KNOW WHAT THEY CALL "EKIWANI"

HAD IT TO BE FACTUAL ELIAS LUKWAGO WOULD HAVE GONE TO COURT TO DEMAND FOR PRODUCING THEM TO COURT.

RECALL WHAT HAPPENED DURING FAKED ABDUCTION AND DEMANDING RANSOM. IT WAS UNTIL POLICE DISCOVERED FAKED ABDUCTION FIR RANSOM THAT IT STOPPED FORTH WITH.

THIS MIGHT NOT BE DEFERENT. FOOD FOR THOUGHT"
