BUSHENYI NRM REGISTRAR ARRESTED FOR STEALING 18 GOATS
Police in Bushenyi have arrested the Kakanju NRM registrar on charges of stealing 18 goats.
Jonath Musinguzi was apprehended over the weekend after he was caught red handed with two of the 18 stolen goats.
The acting Bushenyi DPC Titus Kitosi has confirmed the arrest of Musinguzi adding that he is in their custody and will be taken to court to answer to charges of livestock theft.
The district NRM registrar Alikangiro Barekye told media that he was going to investigate the matter since he does expect such from his staff.
Kakanju subcounty found in Bushenyi district is well known for producing a number of thieves because most of the youths don't go to school neither do they work but rather spend the whole meandering around villages.
