Amber Alert for missing Ottawa baby

An Amber Alert has been issued for a one-year-old girl who was taken in Ottawa.

Abby Mathewsie is two-feet tall and 20 pounds. She has brown eyes, black hair, and was wearing a navy blue Montreal Canadiens onesie. Abby also has a feeding tube in her nose.

The Ontario Provincial Police say the suspect’s name is Miriam.

She is 70-years-old, 5-foot-6 and 130 pounds with grey hair. She was wearing a light winter coat.

Police say she was last seen travelling from the Carling Avenue and Pinecrest Road area of Ottawa.

She was driving a silver vehicle.

The OPP has not released photos of the child or the suspect, but if you spot them, call 911.
