EUROPEAN UNION INTERGRATED MULTIMODAL TRANSPORT NETWORK GULU CITY
In order to enhance economic growth and livelihoods, the European Union is supporting Uganda to improve mobility of people and goods, through an integrated multimodal transport network.
An integrated multimodal transport system is a transport network that optimises the comparative advantages of each mode i.e. roads, water, rail and air transport.
The Logistics Hub in Gulu, fed by a 2.3 km access road and the Tororo – Gulu railway line, supported by the 🇪🇺 and Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office is a clear demonstration of the benefits of integrating different transport modes.

Did you know?
That an integrated multimodal transport network improves safety of users and reduces the cost of transport?
