{UAH} I’m Waiting To Hear Their Motive And Who Sent Them: Gen. Katumba Speaks Out On Arrested Gunmen Who Shot At Him Killing His Daughter And Driver

Works and Transport Minister Gen. Edward Katumba Wamala has spoken out concerning arrest of the some of the Key suspects who attempted to take his life.

On Thursday, Maj. Gen. Paul Lokech, the Deputy Inspector General of Police revealed that the joint security team arrested Kamada Walusimbi alias Mudinka,  Siriman Kisambira alias Mukwasi, Mustafa Kawawa Ramadan alias Amin, Muhammad Kagugube alias Bafumoya as the main suspects who were behind the attack on Gen. Katumba in Kisota that left his daughter Brenda Nantongo Katumba and his driver Sgt. Haruna Kayondo dead.

However, when contacted by CBS radio, Gen Katumba said that he is still carefully observing what is going on, "I am told that they have arrested them. If it's true that they are the ones, let me wait for court conviction. But for me as a victim, I am still traumatized by whatever I went through," the soft spoken Katumba said.

He added that he will be eagerly waiting to hear and know the motive of these attackers and who sent them.

It should be noted that some suspects who included Yusuf Nyanzi and Hussein Sserubula were charged with murder and attempted murder before Nakawa Chief Magistrate's Court and remanded to Kitalya prison.
