Three more suspects in the attempted assassination of works minister Gen Edward Katumba Wamala have been shot dead in Kanyogoga, Namuwongo in Makindye Division, Kampala.

The Friday morning operation was led by the Crime Intelligence Director, Christopher Ddamulira.

Two SMG guns and a pistol were recovered from one of the rooms of the dead suspects.

One suspect was earlier shot dead on Thursday.
