NUP SHALL NEVER EMBRACE OPPOSITION UNITY.

This week has been enveloped in discussions as to whether Kyagulanyi under NUP can heed to the Opposition Unity call to all political parties in order to join hands with opposition's People's Front for transition (PFT) headed by Dr Besigye so as to give Museveni a black out knock.
Let's begin from the NUP MPs retreat that happened in Busabala where Hon. Abed Bwanika stood and raised the point on Opposition Unity. He confidently demanded a reason as to why they were not joining hands with other political forces in unity to fight a common enemy. He further noted that, elections since 1996 in the days of Dr. Paul Kawanga Ssemogere have proved to the passing of times that they can never unseat the Museveni Dictatorship in Uganda.
He also said to the members that the statistics NUP had gathered in the recent elections are just the same statistics the opposition leaders have been gaining in the past elections. Only that in the 2021 elections Kyagulanyi got all votes from on region. Therefore, joining hands with Besigye would be paramount.
Bwanika also went ahead to request the principal to produce evidence that his election had been rigged by Museveni away from Bunter but with no response still.
However, in responding to all these queries, first of all kyagulanyi noted that any matter regarding Opposition unity that NUP ought to be party to, is not his responsibility but the responsibility of the Secretary General Rukiri Lewis Rubongonya. Therefore, he was being addressed the wrong question.
Besides dodging such topics, it should be noted that the erection of Kyagulanyi into opposition politics was mainly to sabotage the vibrancy and allegiance of the baganda to the kabaka and the then existing politicians like Dr. Kizza Besigye among others. Therefore, opposition unity would destroy this mission by Museveni through kyagulanyi.
Even though kyagulanyi would love to join hands with the PTF, this simply means that NUP's future would be doomed. This is simply because, opposition unity comes into question at such a time when NUP is lobbying support from the state to win all the two EALA seats, one for Bobi's brother Nyanzi Nyanzi fred and another for Rubongonya. So opposition unity would render all these interests' into vanity.
Lastly Museveni tricked Kyagulanyi by gifting him a ghost political party NURP present day NUP that belongs to an army officer called Kibalama attached to Bombo military barracks.Therefore, in case he attempted to bite the hand that feeds him, Museveni would erect the court case that challenges his ownership of the party, thus the destruction of NUP that exists in ghost.
It is important to also appreciate the role and idea behind the entire vision of Anita gifting Betty Mutebile the Kololo based house supposed to belong to the governor bank of Uganda. She had at the beginning and reception of the news that Mutebile had passed on paid Mpuuga lots of money to woe NUP Mps into accepting this offer. This was because she aimed at gifting it to the widow and later buying it from the widow since the banyakigezi mafias have already plotted a plan to steal all wealth Mutebile left behind since he doesn't have any child. The plan is a big scum schemed by Thomas Tayebwa, Anitah Among and Mpuga
