A BIG Surprise Endorsement For Donald Trump On Live TV, Just Ahead Of Iowa Caucus

In a recent live broadcast on Fox News' Ingraham Angle, Senator Mike Lee publicly endorsed Donald Trump for the 2024 presidential race.

This significant announcement comes just days before the Iowa caucus, scheduled for January 15.

"The American people have a choice to make," stated Lee, emphasizing the historical significance of the upcoming election. He further expressed his belief in the 'America first' policy, a stance that aligns with Trump's political ideology.   https://twitter.com/i/status/1745963131543642147

"Donald Trump has kept his promises," Lee asserted, indicating his confidence in Trump's leadership. He further declared, "I wholeheartedly endorse Donald Trump in his bid for the presidency in 2024."

In a subsequent post on X, Lee elaborated on his endorsement. "Whether you like Trump or not, Americans face a binary choice," he wrote. He criticized Biden's administration for its border enforcement, prosecution of opponents, and policies that, according to Lee, make life unaffordable for hardworking Americans. "I'll take the mean tweets," he added, "I choose Trump."

The race for the GOP ticket has been heating up, with Trump, Ron DeSantis, Nikki Haley, and Vivek Ramaswamy as the remaining contenders. Trump has consistently led the polls, with a significant lead of up to 60 points over the other candidates.

DeSantis, who has been trailing Trump in second place, has been facing competition from Nikki Haley. Despite Trump's endorsement during his gubernatorial campaign, DeSantis has since distanced himself from the former president.

Lee and DeSantis have previously been allies, with Lee publicly praising DeSantis for his debate performance against California Governor Gavin Newsom. In 2023, DeSantis visited DC to garner support from Republicans on Capitol Hill. However, only two members of the House GOP, Texas' Chip Roy and Thomas Massie of Kentucky, endorsed him at the time.

Interestingly, DeSantis had endorsed Lee for the Utah senatorial race in 2022, even launching a campaign ad against Lee's opponent, independent candidate Evan McMullin. In the ad, DeSantis criticized McMullin as a "donkey in sheep’s clothing" and a potential vote for Biden.
