You have no doubt heard the saying, beware of Greeks bearing gifts, warning originating from Virgil’s Aeneid story of the Trojan Horse subterfuge. In this article, I want to discuss the Trojan Horse strategy of today’s lying left. Specifically, the left’s puppet Kamala Harris and her recent promises of a state-run paradise.
Again, the devil took him [Jesus] to a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory. And he said to him, “All these I will give you, if you will fall down and worship me.” (Matthew 4:8-9)
Kamala, as you know, recently made some incredible (i.e., unbelievable) offers. She comes “bearing gifts” –
· $25,000 for every first-time home buyer
· State-run control of the pharmaceutical industry, promising to lower prescription drug prices
· Price control on food with stiff penalties for companies who fail to obey leftist laws
· Construction of three million new “housing units”
All of this is a Trojan horse. Hidden inside is the real goal of state control of every aspect of our lives. Control of:
· Food distribution
· Medical care
· Housing
· The vehicles we drive
· Control of corporations and businesses
· Self-defense (i.e., gun control)
· Education (a propaganda machine for children)
·
The list will go on and on. Ultimately, it will include more, such as religion — a state-run “church” that is really the worship of the state.
These controls do not originate with Kamala. The state’s Trojan horse promise of utopia has been played out over and over down through history. The outcome is always the same for those who let the horse into the gates. Disaster. Subjection. Suffering. Death for all who refuse to conform. Follow the horrid trail of communism and it is clear that this warning is not some exaggeration fueled by unreasonable paranoia.
“Just give us control of every aspect of your life and we will usher in paradise for you. Worship the state, and the state will bring back Eden.”
The civil government was instituted by God for a very limited role given for our benefit. Here it is:
For rulers are not a terror to good conduct, but to bad. Would you have no fear of the one who is in authority? Then do what is good, and you will receive his approval, for he is God’s servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for he does not bear the sword in vain. For he is the servant of God, an avenger who carries out God’s wrath on the wrongdoer. (Romans 13:3-4)
In other words, the role of government is to work for the good of good people, and to be a terror to the wrong-doer. To punish the criminal and thus protect the righteous. But power in the hands of the lying left and every other tyrant becomes a terror to good people, and an enabler of the wicked. That is what we are seeing played out today right here in our nation.
Government was never established for the purpose of controlling every aspect of our lives. Its role is to be quite limited. Rulers are to rule for the protection of citizens from those who would harm them. But when wicked people gain political power, you can be sure that they will be energized by a lust for more power – over you. It is this evil that explains so much of our nation’s constitution, written to put controls on would-be tyrants.
Inside the Trojan Horse was hidden a Greek army. Once inside the gates of Troy, the outcome was sealed. The strategy and goal of the lying left is illustrated in the more contemporary use of “Trojan Horse” as a computer virus which misleads users of its true intent by disguising itself as a standard program. Once inside your computer the attack is certain.
The lying left Kamala and the puppetmasters behind her are a Trojan Horse virus to our nation.
Beware of leftists bearing gifts. All of these promises of utopia effected by government control are a lying front meant to dupe the gullible. If we let it inside the gates, disaster will result. Utopia, in other words, will turn out to be the same old story you can see played out in China, Russia, Cuba, North Korea, and everywhere else: a tyrant is handed the keys to the city.
So beware of Greeks bearing gifts. In this case, the Greeks are the lying left holding cash in front of you. In the end, you will need a truck to haul that money because it won’t be worth the paper that the lying left printed it on.

so? as if trump doesn’t make outlandish promises., just promises mean nothing unless the congress approves. but hey the msm must paint the blue team as the big bad wolf coming after timid red riding hood correct? and sheeple will follow since rational thought is dead.

When Trump was president i had a savings account and was doing well. Under Biden everythings so dam high i no longer save money! Trump has not done nothing to anybody to have to go through all the crap he has to endure from our crooked government because he wants to make America great again! If you think America is great right now under Biden then your delusional or on drugs!! You should be more concerned about our government going after people who don’t like their agendas and have done nothing wrong! Maybe you should let God come into your life and stop hating! Go seek help and stop being a sheep!
