War is engaged in the Democratic Republic of Congo, with a strong involvement of the UN peacekeepers who are fighting alongside the Congolese Armed Forces. This Saturday, three part of UN forces were wounded by shells tires.

The fighting between the Congolese army and rebels M23 resumed since Thursday, with several shells launched by the rebellion of Goma, a strategic town in North Kivu in the eastern Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). These attacks killed four people and injured dozens of others.

Following these attacks, the peacekeepers have taken positions and declared war on the M23. Indeed, Martin Kobler, the head of MONUSCO, ordered his men to take all necessary actions to protect the population of Goma. "I ordered the MONUSCO peacekeepers to respond and make the necessary actions to protect civilians and prevent progression of M23," said the head of UN peacekeepers in the Congo mission. This Saturday, three peacekeepers were wounded by shells fired from the positions of the rebel M23. These projectiles landed near the positions of the UN mission in Congo (MONUSCO), near Goma in eastern Democratic Republic of Congo. What to inflame the situation, especially peacekeepers more raised his voice after registering victims. "In no case the act of the elements of M23 can not be tolerated, and any attack against civilians and UN population is a war crime," responded MONUSCO.

Since Thursday, the army confronts the rebellion of the M23 with its next support MONUSCO attending the FARDC with all the necessary logistics. With this war has taken a new dimension, the worst is feared.
