{UAH} Mr.Barigye:Allan Ssewanyana is the man of the month!

Allan Ssewanyana created history the day other councillors illegally impeached the Lord Mayor, Erias Lukwago. Historians will be very kind to him when writing about the events of that day at city hall. He remains among the few principled people we have got in Uganda. Hajjati Shefra Lukwago didn't bounce about in the hall, as Allan did, but she surely voted on the right side too. So were a few others.

Frank Tumwebaze put on a tough act that day but I'm sure deep inside he knew that all this was wrong. I don't think he is too dump to know that he was being used to do a wrong thing. Yes, I read somewhere in the "Investigator" that frank worships the ground Museveni walks on, and that he is a great admirer of George Bush junior, but a wrong remains a wrong regardless of all such sentiments.

Frank may not even be a bad person outside all these state entrapments but just a guy who just found himself on the wrong side of the fence. I understand he is a "mulokole", isn't he? It will be a shame to the rest of the " yesu yebazibwes" if he keeps supporting wrong bills or actions meant to disempower the people of Uganda!

But why would anyone get inspired by George Bush junior, anyways?
