For my part, I rubbish that your assessment of the situation.

Clearly, you don't seem to follow events there.

The actors in Gaza had only a few months back ressolved to unite.

Israel directly made proclamation against it.

They have elected politicians who are striving to have Palestina recognized as a state and a member of the United Nations (UN).

It is their right to determine their country's Destiny. Very much as every other nation does (including Uganda) to ensure sovereignty.

I do not know where you live but, have you ever wondered what

would happen if Israel did not monopolize / dictate the rights od Palestines?

Israel categorically opposed the rights of the Palestines.

Israel is the one building on occupied territory and all the time claiming false security notions as basis.

My opinion is that the UN Peace keeping forces is deployed in a rigid buffet with the full right to cobat and the state of Palestina recognised with full UN status.

And if they then attack Israel then they should be treated by the UN

just as the UN resolve such conflicts.

Thas is my opinion.

Have you ever imagined a second what would happen if Hamas resolved not to provocatively fire rockets inside Israel?  I don't know where you live, nonetheless, what would your president do if a neighboring state, armed group of people or an armed organization decide to rain deadly rockets  into your country?  Would he/she sit back and relax or fold the hands on the chest and pray that they may stop?

I think UN should urgently pass a resolution condemning Hamas for using innocent people to protect its weaponry.  The resolution should also require Hamas to stop using UN facilities in the region as cover for their military arsenal.

Alternatively, the Arabs should understand they can never fight under the UN. To fight the war, they too must fight it outside the UN like Israel does. They too must defy UN resolutions. Otherwise, they are conjured.

That is how I look at it.

The dirty war Mid East will never mature into smthng cnclsive. To account for this grim preview; the two sides are not equals. Take how Hamas conceals itself among civilians drawing Israel's firepower to them. One has to feel very sad at the young and defenceless corpses but for how long will their supposed defenders use them as shields?                                                  Reports say more Israeli soldiers than civilians have died. That indicates the state of Israel is approaching the conflict in a straight foward manner where "A Bullet Catches A Soldier First Before A Civilian".                            If we cannot end belligerence, our wars must be brave, clean and not exploitative. Hamas is fighting a war of pity wtht being sympthtic. When the world gets over the graphic horror pix and learns the cause behind them, the Palestinian cause will be at stake. These guys need Vision if they are to survive and sustain needful empathy.
