{UAH} Crackdown on radio Stations in Uganda

Two people have been arrested in Gulu on orders of the acting RDC, Andrew Moses Awany. A radio presenter and his host after a radio talk show where the host allegedly abused the President on Air. This was at Jalfresh FM radio.

In Busoga, the Presidential hopeful Dr.Kiiza Besigye was switched off air fifteen minutes into his show from a radio station owned by an NRM MP. 

This development comes in the heels of UNESCO's countrywide training of journalists on the need to fight for freedom expression and access to information currently going on.

Do we have to resort to social media to pass on sensitive information?
