True and I sincerely hope during the next mandate period, our lawmakers and the political parties
shall be bold enough to reconstruct a better model for the so called PRIMARY(ies). That system is the Devil itself!!!!
As it is, the primary election system only consolidate ELITE grip on politics. It does not work for a country at Ugandas level of political
maturity. Our reality is different.

What if Bukenya, Tinyefuza and Mbabazi were a 'surgical' Kaguta operation? And that presidential campaigns will start minus Mao, Otunnu et all, and along the way Mbabazi 'drops outs' and says "I told you so that I would never contest against the president as long as he is standing. I will wait for NRM supporters to back me for my one term from 2021".
And then Besigye is disqualified by courts and EC for 'breaking' election rules by campaigning and addressing rallies 'disguised' as 'consultations' before candidates were allowed to do so!
Then M7 will only have to face Baryamureeba and Abed Bwanika! It is dream scenario for NRM supporters but would be a disappointment for those hoping to benefit from Mbabazi's alleged deep pockets!
