MUTEESA I ROAD, LUBAGA CATHEDRAL
This road is named after the Kabaka that declared Islam as a state religion. The Palace on this hill was used for planning of Military expeditions by Buganda's generals. However, in 19th Century, during the reign of Kabaka Muteesa I (1856-1884), the Palace caught fire and it was abandoned. Along this road was Kabaka Mutesa 1's Palace and the Land on which it belonged, he donated it to the Catholic Church to construct its Cathedral after falling out of favor with Muslims and Islam.

Allaah gives the best to those who leave the choice to Him."And if Allah touches you with harm, none can remove it but He, and if He touches you with good, then He is Able to do all things." (6:17)
