{UAH} Happy Independence day

Happy Independence day and Welcome to a new episode of life Hacks, today I'll be giving you tips on how to optimize and save battery and Smartphone life .

1. Avoid using the phone while charging: This is one we all already know, this act is discouraged because most phones run on Li-ion batteries, and these batteries have a limited charge cycle after which they need to be replaced.

2. Don't make calls when you are receiving weak signal strength: Making calls with poor signal strength does not only mean more call drops, but it also takes a serious toll on your phone's battery life. The lower the strength, the more power your phone has to draw up to capture mobile signals.

3. Put your phone in a plastic bag if you are in a wet/muddy place to prevent it from being ruined.

4. Shut down apps you don't need: If you are an Android user, you must be aware that, there are a countless number of apps running in the background. Of course, these apps are sometimes useful, but in most cases, it is only latching your battery without offering any value. Keep a check on your background apps and shut down the ones who aren't of your use.

5. Switch your phone to "Airplane Mode," to charge it faster.
