{UAH} GLOVES OFF AS MAO UNVEILS SEGONA DP BUSIRO SUCCESSOR

Stung by senior DP cadres who like stabbing the country's oldest party in the back,  Democratic Party President General Norbert Mao has gone bare knuckles starting with defiant Medard Segona (calls himself Secretary General for DP Bloc) against whom the Party Wakiso district new executive has fronted Eng Charles Wilson Ggala, a wealthy tycoon that lives in Nakasozi Buddo not very far from Segona's home. Ggala, who has twice been hosted at Bobi Wine's home in Magere clandestinely because the NUP Principal fears to upset Segona, has been campaigning to become the next Busiro Eat MP, a position Segona has held for 10 years since 2011.

On Thursday, Mao was the guest of honor at Front Page Hotel Zana where the newly elected members of the Wakiso DP executive were inaugurated. The inauguration ceremony was followed by a party and political celebrations during which Mao unveiled Ggala as the man going to carry the DP flag for Busiro East MP since Segona has grown wings and turned his back on City House while deeply getting himself involved into the politics of Bobi Wine's newly formed National Unity Platform (NUP) party whose full executive Mulengera News exclusively unveiled on Wednesday as registered with the EC which regulates political party activities

At the Front Page event in Zana, an overjoyed Mao said he was enthused that there are many other DPs who are willing to carry the flag for Busiro East to make sure Segona doesn't continue portraying himself as indispensable. The DP local leaders in Wakiso assured Mao that in Ggala, the party is going to have a strong pillar and City House will not regret having him as the flag bearer. "I have lived in Busiro East for some years now and since I started my grass root mobilization and consultations for the MP job, many views have been articulated but one thing has been constant. And that has been the unanimous plea by majority community leaders that please join DP and carry the party's flag and then we kill you with votes," Ggala said clarifying that majority ordinary DP members and supporters in Kyengera/Nsangi Town Council, Wakiso Town Council and Mumyuka Sub County have repeatedly been urging him to embrace City House and help them fill the gap left by Segona's hostility to Mao's leadership. "I can officially confirm I'm going to carry the DP flag and use it to cruise to victory."
