Oct 04, 2020 Joe Biden's national lead over Trump jumps to 14 points after debate in new NBC News/WSJ poll Joe Biden holds a 53 percent to 39 percent national lead over President Donald Trump in a new NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll, nearly doubling his advantage in September. The poll, conducted after Tuesday night's debate and before news that the president had tested positive for Covid-19, found that voters felt Biden performed better in the debate by a nearly 2-to-1 margin.
