NUP IN SEX FOR POSTS SCANDAL AS MORE CANDIDATES COMPLAIN OF CORRUPTION.
The NUP has been rocked by a new Sex for Posts scandal amidst more confusion among various candidates who are appearing claiming to be flag bearers especially in Buganda region.

The situation is also being worsened by a large number of uneducated candidates who have failed to read and follow the guidelines that have been set by the party electoral committee.

This in turn has led to non adherence to electoral regulations and failure to fill in required documents within the stipulated period of time. In the meantime, the dates for nomination of candidates by the electoral commission is set to kick off soon.

Other candidates are still upset after being sidelined for non technical reasons. While some especially women have complained that the leaders have demanded for sex in return for endorsement to stand in certain positions. Bobi Wines brother Eddie Yawe has been cited widely in these allegations alongside Chairman Nyanzi.

The excuses by some like Joel Senyonyi that Police would never let them hold primaries doesn't hold water. Has been accused by many of favoring friends and also being key in King making for NUP candidates who are dear to and worship him

The party has tried to dismiss the allegations by publishing lists of successful candidates in settled constituencies.

Many people have heavily criticized the current vetting process that has seen the party lose many potential leaders and their supporters due to this unfair policies. The party has also called upon a number of members to return nomination forms until a further time when the situation can be settled.
